Robert Bland

Chairman

Robert was born in Shropshire and has lived there all his life. He has worked in his family’s business’ Oakleys and Oakleys Fuel Oils and in recent years as Chairman of Midland Wood Fuels.

He was a Governor at Shrewsbury Sixth Form College for 12 years and Chair for 6 years. He was Chair of the Princes Trust in Shropshire for 5 years.

He was the High Sheriff of Shropshire in 2014/15 focusing on young people, training and entrepreneurialism. Appointed Chairman of the Shropshire Youth Support Trust in 2015.
