Chris has spent his working life in manufacturing in the ceramic industry; firstly in the family tableware business and then at Wedgwood where he became Manufacturing and Technical Director.

He served on the Main Board of Waterford Wedgwood for a number of years before retiring. He was a Governor of a State School, a member of the Training Board and other Trading Bodies. He currently is Chairman of the Wedgwood Pension Scheme, Severn Hospice Retail Committee and acts as a Consultant in Ceramics.
