Historic pub to host digital skills workshop
Are you aged 16-24 and interested in learning new digital media skills in the setting of a stunning historic Shropshire pub?
Free places are now available for two hands-on workshops in January for anyone who is interested in expanding their digital media skills.
During the workshops, participants will join a digital skills expert and learn how to plan, film and edit a social media advert using nothing but your mobile phone.
They will discover the secret ingredients to creating a social media advert, how to storyboard their ideas and effective filming tricks and tips. The session activities all link to the essential digital skills framework, helping to build skills for life.
Workshops are taking place on the following dates:

Tuesday 4th January 10:30-15:30
Tuesday 11th January 10:30-15:30

The first workshops will take place at the Punchbowl Inn in Bridgnorth which is one of Shropshire’s heritage pub gems and over 700 years old.
Today The Punchbowl Inn retains many of its original characteristics and offers a warm welcome to all its guests.
As part of the sessions a £10 travel voucher and lunch will be provided as well as the opportunity to join us for an online premier of the finished films.
These workshops are being organised as part of TDR Heritages Inn Sites project, which is investigating, recording and celebrating Shropshire’s rural pub heritage, funded by Historic England. Throughout the workshops you will have the opportunity to catch up with the project.
