In the heart of Shropshire, a charitable organization is making strides to support young individuals who find themselves outside the realms of education, employment, or training. The Shropshire Youth Support Trust (SYST), based in Telford, is breaking down barriers and offering an exciting opportunity for young people aged 16-30 to explore their creativity through photography sessions, completely free of charge

SYST, short for Shropshire Youth Support Trust, is dedicated to providing guidance, training, and opportunities for young individuals who have fallen into the NEET category – “not in education, employment, or training.” This transition period in a young person’s life can be incredibly challenging, and SYST recognizes the importance of helping them find their passion and purpose.

In a world where visual communication and storytelling are more important than ever, photography has become a valuable skill. Recognizing this, SYST has partnered with professional photographer Carol Langford, a passionate supporter of the charity, to deliver these inspiring training sessions.

The photography training sessions offered by SYST are not your run-of-the-mill workshops. They are designed to engage young people, helping them explore their creativity and gain valuable skills in photography. These sessions are a fantastic opportunity for participants to discover their artistic side, regardless of their prior experience in photography.
